Let's get this party started

"Your source for Paleo Blogosphere info since 2012"

I'll manically be reviewing the best of the paleo blogs--lifestyle, nutrition, science, etc.--and posting every few days.   Reading a lot so you don't have to--

The evolutionary psychiatrist has been busy since her return from Paleo Fx--posting on trans fats, aggression, and the problems with observational studies here, and continuing her insightful look into inflammation and mental health with a Psychology Today piece here.  Allergy sufferers, beware...AND Robb Wolf and crew have a don't miss post on nutrition, inflammation, and depression.  Had enough yet? Not so fast, Archie. Even MORE stress and inflammation info from the brilliant Chris Kresser. I am sensing a theme here...and Melissa McEwen contemplates individualized reactions to varied dietary components in an eloquent post at Hunt.Gather.Love.

The crew at Whole 9 continue to tote the mail, bringing the message to the masses through their awesome seminars as detailed with video. From Utah to Jersey,  they get around!  That Paleo Guy has been getting around his own self,  detailing his travel to Melbourne for a paleo summit, meeting some fellow Antipodeans for exchange of ideas.  Anastasia from primalmeded was there and is announcing the 1st Australian Paleo weekend on her site, scheduled soon in May.  Travel Down Under, anyone?

Mark's Daily Apple delivers the goods with a recipe for paleo crackers.  Where was he last night when I ate those damn Triscuits? Ah, kale and coconut salad at Sweet Cheeks. There's outstanding looking recipes with photos from Free the Animal, along with a VERY cool vintage music video and some commentary from Richard Nikoley.

Dr. Jack Kruse is getting his Circadian endocrine physiology on, with a (paleo/primal) helping of cold thermogenesis theory. And J.Stanton over at Gnolls.org/ is doing his part, shown by his "snorkel powder" pics in the Sierras.  Get your leptin sensitivity on, JS! He also has launched a new recommended reading list. Circadian exercise? Check out Wildfitness sunrise exercise plan. I like the exploratory run. You want more brain science? Stephan Guyenet at Whole Health Source discusses the biochemistry of "Food Lust."  You know Oscar Wilde said the best way to deal with temptation was to yield to it, right? Stay on the path, Cavedwellers!

Dean Dwyer's friend gives you a  path to converting that loved one to paleo at Being Primal. And Paul and Shou-Ching Jaminet, who have serious science cred,  begin to explore nutrient fortification of "food" (read: industrially produced enriched grain products) at Perfect Health Diet.

Whew!  That oughta keep you busy.  Please tell me what you'd like to see, if anything, in the comments, along with suggestions for blogs to include. Catfish out, y'all.

  1. I need some time off to peer down these rabbit holes. Perhaps this could serve me as a doctors note for sometime off from work?
